This Recipe is perfect for the chocolate craving or a little pre-workout snack! Between the earthy taste of oatmeal with the chewiness of the honey and peanut butter, the salted chocolate top will; take you to heaven.  Get ready to indulge in the perfect combination of earthy oatmeal, chewy honey, and creamy peanut butter, all topped off with a heavenly salted chocolate layer!


Ingredients 


Yields 16 bars 

1 cup rolled oats

1 scoop chocolate protein 

½ cup shredded coconut 

¼ cup almond flour

¼ tsp salt

¾ cup peanut butter 

½ cup honey

½ cup dark chocolate chips

1 tbsp coconut oil

Flaky sea salt for topping

Directions

  1. Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper and set it aside. 
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the oats, protein, coconut, almond flour and salt. 
  3. Add in the peanut butter and honey and stir until the dough comes together. 
  4. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. 
  5. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in 15 second increments until smooth. 
  6. Pour ¾ of the chocolate over the dough. 
  7. Chill in the freezer for 5 minutes. 
  8. Drizzle the remaining chocolate over the hardened chocolate layer and top with flaky sea salt. 
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before cutting into bars and serving.
